Objective: To ensure that all are equipped to resolve error code 5887 and they need to understand how to troubleshoot it.

Description:

If you have a 5887 error on a specific column attribute on a flat file upload, you can often just delete the column of that attribute and re-submit and get a successful upload.

Instructions:

  1. Try uploading with the brand name field blank
  2. Delete the brand name field column and try uploading
  3. Double check ASINs are clear for GTIN exemption
  4. If the seller has a brand name but no TM, try uploading with that name in the brand name field
