Catalog SOP: Editing a Lightning Deal in Seller Central

Who is this for: This is intended for sellers on the Seller Central platform who are responsible for managing Lightning Deals. 

Objective: To guide sellers through the process of editing a Lightning Deal on Seller Central. To ensure that sellers can efficiently and accurately update their Lightning Deals to meet their business needs and promotional strategies.

Before any planned changes for running Lightning Deals, it is important to inform, brief details and get client’s approval. Include the approval proof (screenshot or fireflies call link) as Task Details or as a Comment.


1. Click on the "Advertising" tab on the top menu and select "Deals" from the Drop-Down Menu.


2. On the next page, use the search bar to locate your Lightning Deal by entering the ASIN or SKU and selecting the status, type, and date options from the respective Drop-Down Menus.3. Once you find your deal in one of the "Running", "Upcoming", "Needs Attention" or "Draft" status modes, click "Edit" button from the right side of the page.4. Locate the details of the Lightning Deal you want to edit. Then "Submit edits".


5. Alternatively, you can edit your Lightning Deal by clicking the "View" button on the right of the deal to access the Lightning Deal page and then clicking the "Edit" button at the top right side of the page.
