Catalog SOP: Viewing Buy One Get One Promotion Costs and Performance

Who is this for: This is intended for sellers or individuals responsible for managing promotions on the Seller Central platform.

Objective: To provide instructions on how to view the costs and performance of a Buy One Get One (BOGO) promotion on the Seller Central platform

Note :Payments report may not be visible if client did not provide access

Unlike other advertising options on Seller Central, you cannot view performance metrics such as the number of units sold or revenue earned for the Buy One Get One Promotion. Referral fees are deducted by Amazon from all orders on Seller Central, including those with promotions.

The total sales price, including any shipping or gift wrap charges, is used to calculate the referral fee. Minimum referral fees may apply to all products in the order, depending on the product category. For example, if a customer buys product "A" and receives product "B" for free, Amazon charges a referral fee on the total sales price of product "A," and both "A" and "B" may be subject to a minimum referral fee, depending on the category. If there is a discount on product "A," Amazon charges a referral fee on the total sales price after the discount is applied.

To view referral fees for your promotion campaigns:

1. Go to the "Reports" tab on the top menu of Seller Central and select "Payments" from the Drop-Down Menu.

2. Click on the "Statement View" tab → Expenses to see the charges made to your account.

3. On the next page, under the "Transaction View" tab, click on the amount in the Total column next to "Amazon Fees" to see additional details, such as the Tracking ID of your Promotion offer and the quantity sold per ASIN on the offer.

4. The referral fee will be deducted from your account before Amazon makes its next payment to you.
